I am weak but God is strong
My husband is living with a chronic sickness that keeps him a constant pain. I pray for him daily and I know that God will give him strength. Satan tries many days to discourage me and cause me to doubt, but I am determined that God will never forget my prayers. There's times when I get depressed and wonder how much longer he can live like this but I know that God will make a way. I know in God's word it promises us that ,by my stripes ye are healed, so I cling to this promise and remain faithful that something good will soon happen. After all I am weak, unable to heal, but I know that God is all knowing, all graciuos, and full of healing. All God asks is that we remain faithful.

Afraid of Failing: Prison Recap
Afraid of Failing: Prison Recap: "Going to the prison yesterday was a surreal experience. We received a letter from the warden stating that we could not enter the prison so t..."
I went to the prison last year and reading your blog was like a replay of how I felt. I was afraid because recently my daughter had been placed in jail because of bad choices. I had been so depressed before going to Uganda, but when I got to Uganda and was offered a chance to go to the prison God spoke to me to go and tell them how it feels as a mother to see thier child in jail. I also told them of my personal testimony and how easily I could've made a bad choice and been in the same situation as they were. I also told them that God allows things to happen in our lives in order to save our lives. Many of the young men had been saved but decided to rededicate thier lives to Christ, others decided to get saved. I learned that my words may have affected thier personal lives but God's word penetrated thier lost souls.

God's strength is all I have
Recently I have faced alot of mental, and heartwreching pain. I almost thought at times that I was spiraling down into a nervous breakdown. After many tears, dark days of depression. I decided to give it all to God. Not only has He delivered me from depression and pain, He has given me strength and newfound wisdom to help others in the same or worse conditions. Oftentimes, Satan has tried to tell me to quit, but Praise God , God's Holy Spirit is always intervening and encouraging me. The source of my pain was the fact that my daughter has been in jail. She had began abusing prescription drugs and hanging around with people who were stealing to support thier habits. She was with that person who had stolen credit cards, checks, and had cashed them to buy the drugs with. Even though she didn't use the card or cash the checks, she was always with him. I knew something was wrong with her but I could'nt pinpoint it. I told her if she didn't ge back in church and turn her life back to God that she was going to face some hard times. She has since then realized that God is all she has. I reminded her of the time when she faced death in the eyes,(she had leukemia) and God delivered her. Just as she has learned that God is all she has, I have also learned through this experience that God is truly all the strength I have to get through anything.
